depends on where you live. West coast: go to Hawaii. Central or East Coast: The southern part of Belize, called Placencia, is gorgeous, and really quiet, if you like quiet. If you want more of a resort-type vacation, either Cancun or Turks and Caicos. Also, tthe Bay Islands of Honduras are beautiful and serene and quiet, with a nice laid-back culture.

St. Johns in the caribbean has sugary white sand, crystal clear waters, and seculuded beaches.
My favorite island paradise is the Maldives, just off the southern tip of Indian and Sri Lanka... it's literally Robinson Crusoe like... the blinding white beaches, blue-green shades of warm sparkling clear water, warm year round weather... no other islands in sight...

Sanibel Island, Florida
Beautiful, bright white sugar sands on the blue green Gulf of Mexico, Sanibel is known for it's quiet lifestyle, treasures of shells and spectacular sunsets...AND it's very affordable.
